HER WAY started in September 2021, when Australian schoolgirl Abbie was frustrated at the lack of news and resources around promoting women in sport. What started as a monthly digital magazine has now become a media platform across social media and YouTube, and now an all-in-one hub here where you can stay updated on daily sports news, interviews, special reports and more.
HER WAY is an accredited media outlet to cover such sporting leagues as A-League Women (football), WNBL (basketball), NRLW (rugby league), Super Netball, as well as National and International including the 2022 Basketball World Cup and 2023 Asian Cup, 2023 Powerchair Football World Cup, 2023 World Rugby Sevens, plus international events in Rugby Union, Netball, Basketball, Athletics, Swimming and many more.
HER WAY has also been a regular presence at various sport season launches and awards nights, including the Paris Olympics 100 Days to go event, and is also a leading voice in promoting Para sports - one of a select few media outlets at Paris 2024 Team Announcements.
Since its inception, HER WAY has been given opportunities to interview some of sports’ biggest names, from US Open tennis champ Coco Gauff, to X Games royalty Leticia Bufoni, to Australian superstars such as Lauren Jackson, Liz Watson, Alyssa Healy, Sally Fitzgibbons, Erin Phillips, Charlotte Caslick, through to the emerging and stars of niche sports who are equally deserving of the limelight.
Whether it’s video content, podcast or written information, it’s all here and it’s all available and appropriate for people of all ages.
