VIDEO: HER WAY chats to the Paralympic champion about the honour of being named Flag-bearer for the Paris Paralympics.
Madison de Rozario made her Paralympic as a 14 year old at the Beijing Paralympics, and 16 years later will head to her fifth games in Paris as a dual Paralympic gold medallist.
Breaking with tradition, the Australian Paralympic team named their flag-bearers for the Paris Paralympics six weeks before the games, while the majority of athletes were still in Australia. However both Madi and male flag-bearer Brenden Hall weren’t told they had been chosen until the morning of the announcement.
HER WAY sat down with Madi moments after the official announcement to chat about being selected for the honour. Watch the full interview below.
