Did you know that Wheelchair Basketball was one of the Paralympic Games’ inaugural sports in 1960?

Did you know that around Australia, there are leagues and pathways for those with a disability to play the sport?

BUT did you also know that in some states there are social leagues where anyone of any ability can jump in a chair to play?

I hung out with the Perth Wheelcats Women’s National Wheelchair Basketball side and star Amber Merritt to give it a crack.
