Australia’s Arisa Trew has made a big statement for the Paris Olympics Park Skateboarding, winning the second and final Olympic Qualifying Series event in Budapest tonight.
Arisa’s second run in the final landed a score of 93.38, edging out defending World Champion Sky Brown to claim the title. Great Britain superstar Brown has been skating with an MCL injury, yet still produced two scores over 86 to finish on the podium along with Japan’s Kokona Hiraki.
It means Arisa has won both of the Qualifying Series events, having claimed the first event in Shanghai a few weeks ago. The Queensland teen will go into the Olympics as one of the favourites for gold.
